Hydro Jetting & Sewer Line Cleaning in Tempe, AZ
A drain snake clears a hole through a clog. Hydro jetting removes the clog entirely and cleans the pipe wall at the same time. It's the difference between a patch and a clean slate.
What's included
- 3,500–4,000 PSI truck-mounted jetting system
- Full pipe-wall cleaning, not just a hole through the clog
- Effective on grease, scale, soft root mass, and debris
- Required prep step before any CIPP liner installation
- Camera inspection before and after to confirm clean
- Safe for PVC, ABS, cast iron, and clay pipe
Hydro jetting uses a rotating nozzle head on a high-pressure water hose. The nozzle has forward-cutting jets and rear-facing jets — the forward jets blast through the obstruction and the rear jets clean the pipe wall as the head moves through. We run it at 3,500 to 4,000 PSI with 18 gallons per minute, which is enough to strip grease columns and soft root mass from the pipe wall entirely.
In Tempe, the most common targets for jetting are: grease buildup in kitchen drains and restaurant laterals; scale deposits in old cast-iron pipe; and soft root tendrils in cracked pipe joints. Jetting won't fix a structural defect — if you have a crack or a joint offset, the water goes right through it. That's why we inspect with a camera first.
Hydro jetting is also required before we install a CIPP liner. The resin bonds to clean pipe wall. If there's grease, scale, or debris on the surface, the liner won't adhere properly and the installation is compromised. We always jet, then inspect again, before we pull a liner.
